In 1925, Mr. CD Murray launched "Murray's Superior Products Company" from his Chicago Barber Shop, prioritizing quality and fair pricing. By 1947, pharmacist Harry Berlin took over in Detroit, preserving and expanding upon these core values.

In the 1980s, Harry's son, Arthur, saw a resurgence in pomade usage, which continues today. Leading operations in Michigan with his sons Jim, Jeff, and John, Arthur Berlin summed up the company's ethos: "Amidst the decline of smaller firms, our success stems from unwavering commitment to exceptional value, honesty, and integrity."
